The Gathering Grounds Coffee Café is a unique stop for Breakfast, Lunch, Dessert, Specialty Drinks and so much more! Experience two levels of dining and shopping in our 100-year-old building in charming downtown Perham, MN.

Perham is known for our warm welcome and specialty shops and The Gathering Grounds is no exception. In the mid-80’s a dynamic Mother/Daughter duo grew their small gift shop in New York Mills and moved it to Perham. In 1998 they renovated a beautiful, once-beer hall brick building and The Gathering Grounds was born.

Now over 20 years later, the torch has passed on to current owner Ashlea Clifton but the delicious food, uplifting coffee and cozy vibes remain the same. When you’re in Perham please stop in for some lunch and a treat, or to check out our jewelry, books, clothing, gifts for both adults and children along with antiques and other special items for the home. Our friendly crew will always greet you with a smile and we look forward to serving you!!
